I am a staff researcher at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) at the Annecy-le-Vieux Theoretical Physics Laboratory (LAPTh). I am a part of the Astroparticle and Cosmology group.

I was born in Turin, where I did my studies in Theoretical Physics. During my Master thesis, I spent two months in the United States on an internship at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre, in Washington DC. The internship gave me the opportunity to start familiarising with high-energy astrophysics and brought me to the decision to pursue my academic career with a PhD. In 2010, I started my PhD in the field of astroparticle physics at the University of Hamburg (Germany). Three years later, I obtained a joint PhD in Physics and Astrophysics between the University of Hamburg and the University of Turin (Italy). I then held a postdoctoral position at the Centre of Excellence for Gravitation and Astroparticle Physics (GRAPPA) at the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands).

I am an expert in dark matter searches with astroparticle experiments and in high-energy astrophysics.
